Install Google+ iOS On iPod Touch & iPad

After discovering that Google+ app on iOS only supports iPhone 3 – 3G and 4 but not the iTouch and iPad i was really disappointed but thanks to i-FunBox there is a way after all and its working fine tested it on iTouch 2G – 3G – 4G and iPad 1G. Here is how:

Download i-FunBox and run it remember you need to have your iDevice jailbroken and Appsync installed from Cydia. Choose your iDevice from the left pane and then click on the “install app” button on the main toolbar browse to the saved location of the Google+ app and select it… your done app installed and working flawlessly.

Samsung Lebanon launch Smart TV

Beirut, Lebanon, May 17th, 2011: In the framework of a press conference held at Le Bristol
Hotel Beirut on Tuesday May 17th, Samsung Electronics – a market leader and award-winning
innovator in consumer electronics – and Cherfane Tawil and Co (CTC) – the exclusive distributor for
Samsung products in Lebanon – launched 2011 Samsung SMART TV lineup that is set to redefine
the home entertainment experience.

The event gave Media and VIP consumers the chance to interact with the products and familiarize

Quick Analysis of the latest mobile handsets figures world wide

1- Nokia is still holding 1st position in Smartphones and mobile sales in a shy growth among all vendors but still holding strong

2- LG has a negative growth by -9.6% in 1st Q 2011 compared 2 1st Q 2010 (not surprising) still holding 3rd position in top mobile vendors

3- In Smartphone category Samsung has a growth of 350% in 1st Q 2011 compared to 1st Q 2010, Ranked 2nd in top mobile vendors

4- Apple market grew in mobile handsets 114.9% in 1st Q 2011 compared to 1st Q 2010 giving it the biggest growth among vendors

Shopping Spree turned into a Nokia addiction

Today turned out to be a Nokia day by far, it started with one C7 and didn’t take allot of time for my colleagues to realize that was THE mobile for them, so i ended up playing with 5 C7 during today along side my trusty companion the N8.

It stared with an advice to one of my colleagues at work that he needs to check the C7 before making a decision to switch from his BB curve to BB Torch (YUKKK) it took him 1 picture and 3 lines to fall in love instantly with the Nokia C7 and ordered it on the spot, now GOD is happy of me because i converted one lost soul from BB to Nokia. It was only moments for the rest to follow, with 2 Samsung Wave users recently bought to other Nokia users all fell in love with the C7 and here was the tragedy for me… i had to setup and teach all 5 new comers on the phone but at the end of the day it was pure fun for me.

Now back to the shopping spree, with the holidays around the corner what better time to reward yourself or your loved ones (me for instance ) with a valuable gift, 2 choices are available now and 2 others are waving to you in the horizons. Nokia has released in the Lebanese market a while ago successfully the N8 (580$ max with warranty) and this week the C7 also has had an excellent release (450$ max with warranty) both running the fast and responsive Symbian^3, also the E7 and the C6-01 will be released soon expecting also a market take over by the C6-01.

I wont review the devices, many reviews out there to read but we can say for sure that both were sold out from the market in no time, giving Nokia a very strong come back to the Lebanese market improving its leadership again and again. Be sure when buying the devices you get the Nokia Care warranty units.

I dont want to end this article without saying something to my N8 who is sitting next to me watching what i am writing word by word: I love u
