Nokia N900 the first Maemo device from Nokia has hit the market world wide but due to some technical and logistic market needs it wasn’t scheduled to be released in Lebanon same as the Booklet 3G netbook from the same manufacturer.
This was considered as a bad decision by Nokia fans and tech gurus in Lebanon which have the right to see this device in their market as any other market world wide, such decision was tackled for a while and especially after Nokia World 2009 with Nokia Levant team in order to convince them on the need to have an official release for N900 in Lebanon and that this step will cut the road on Gray Market release of the device that will cause allot of problems to the consumers whiling to buy it with absence of proper certified technical support.
The coordination and constant follow up with Nokia Levant on this issue have succeed and the release of the N900 in Lebanon is now a reality, the device will hit the Lebanese market soon with full technical support from Nokia Care Centers. Expect updates very soon on price tag and also a full review for the first Lebanese N900 device.
Thank you Nokia Levant and Nokia Lebanon team for being the pillar in supporting the demands of the Lebanese market.
