LG 3D LCD to hit MEA market soon
The new Infinia category will hit the MEA market soon, the borderless LCD has 3D capabilities and its the world 1st Full LED 3D LCD.
LG’s press release describe the new technology as for our info, the first unit will be in the market by May for people to experience it.
Everywhere you look, walls are coming down. Where once there were boundaries on where people could go, what they could watch and even who they could become, today those limits are increasingly crumbling beneath waves of change, information and choice.
Yet in some aspects of our lives, those barriers remain resolutely in place – not least in how we view the world from our own homes. In a world that so cherishes change and movement, the TV has remained firmly fixed within four borders and two dimensions. Until now .
With Full LED 3D TV from LG INFINIA, LG breaks through the last remaining barriers of home entertainment. With the world’s first and only Full LED 3D TV, LG takes you to a place where the walls between the real and virtual worlds dissolve – where soccer balls soar toward you, hands reach out to touch you, and animals seem to leap right into your living room. But LG’s 3D TVs break down more than just virtual barriers. As the next step in INFINIA LIVE BORDERLESS™ – LG’s long-term vision for its mold-breaking home entertainment systems – they open up a world of borderless viewing pleasure, where everything is seamlessly linked and a whole new world of possibilities lies ahead.
The World’s First Full LED 3D TV
Transforming the very perception of what television can be, LG’s 3D TV means you won’t just be watching shows and movies – you’ll be part of them. Catching a ride with 3D, you’ll be transported into the thick of the action – the front row of the concert hall, the ringside seat, the middle of the car chase – with effects so real you can almost touch them. But as groundbreaking as it is, 3D technology is only part of the picture. To truly bring the virtual world to life, LG’s 3D comes in Full LED, taking the 3D viewing experience to an entirely different level.
Leading LG’s 3D journey is the LX9500, a remarkable Full LED television available with a 47- or 55-inch screen. On one of the slimmest, most elegant sets on the market, the LX9500’s Full LED technology delivers pictures with striking brightness, brilliant color and clarity you can feel. Along with deep levels of black and a picture rendered silky smooth and blur-free by TruMotion 400Hz, the overall effect is a richer, more captivating 3D experience. Better still, thanks to the INFINIA range’s signature narrow bezel, the LX9500 offers a truly expansive platform for 3D, with pictures that practically burst through the edge of the screen.
“No new technology promises to transform the world of home entertainment like 3D does. More than just an advance, 3D could change the whole way we experience TV, adding so far unknown levels of excitement,” said Simon Kang, CEO and President of the LG Home Entertainment Company. “With its astonishing Full LED picture quality, coming with even more LED chips and unbeatable brightness, LG’s 3D TVs provides the perfect platform for 3D, where people can really be a part of the action. After a few false starts for 3D technology, Full LED 3D TV from INFINIA is the home it has been waiting for.”
What if You Could Stop Watching TV and Start Living It?
Groundbreaking and evolutionary, awe-inspiring yet strikingly real, the LX9500 will take you to the furthest reaches of three-dimensional viewing. Through the amazing spectacle of Full LED 3D and the vast possibilities of its limitless content. LG is tearing down the walls to a new TV viewing experience, where the only constraints are your imagination. With Full LED 3D TV from INFINIA, the future is truly borderless.

any idea about the pricing?
I tried the Samsung 3DTV yesterday at BestBuy, the thing is beautiful but still has its flaws.
You can’t view full 3D while you are on the sides (tried it) [corrected]
the whole set with Blu-ray 3D ready + TV + 2 glasses + 1 3D blu-ray disk (of your choice) for ~4600USD

The LX9500 is LG’s highest end screen with border-less and Full LED technology will be sold at 3000$ (price may be lower then announced) for the 42″. U can watch 3D from all sides with the Active 3D technology glasses (expected price 200$) and i tested it, it has a great quality pictures and accurate details.
Another model will be released soon that support 3D at a price of 2000$ soon too, will not include Full LED technology.
Samsung has the progressive 3D fast shutter glasses which are recharged by USB, the screen is full LED too but 55″ if i still remember. according to their website, viewing angle is around 120 degrees.
We didn’t get the LG yet, will check it out.
The FULL LED technology is exclusive to LG by patent… as for the Active Glasses they are almost the same.
Here is the Samsung LED 3DTV I saw today:
